Ice Cream Skies

With the passing of the rain, our skies are full of color once more. As the sun began rising from behind the mountains this morning, its reflection on the clouds were hot pink. As the sun slowly began to peek over the mountain tops the hot pink gradually faded into a delicious sherbert orange...hmmm...my first thought...ice cream skies.
Our temps were in the high 50's today and it was beautiful...of course the North Carolina natives keep telling me it won't last...this is probably true...but I'll just pretend a little longer...lets just say I'm having a moment of denial.
