Thanks Donna...Sweet Home Alabama It Is

After many attempts to "fix" the computer problem...I think it's finally working.
It's been many days since my trip to Alabama, but I'm still "glowing" from the visit we had with my "treasured" friends and family. While my daughter and I worked on cleaning my Dad's house, my grandson, Aron had a wonderful Saturday exploring the creek below the old garden spot...he and my husband, Dan, found "wormies", "lobsters"(crayfish), "miller flies"?...let's just say various species of "bugs"...not to mention the joy of turning over rocks and logs in the creek and the occasional trip back to the house announcing each find..."Look Mommy!" and Mommy's response would be..."Ohhh...now take him back to his home, okay?" Of course, one of the "lobsters" got away...well, flew away with a little help from Sir Aron as he held it for the first time and its pinchers opened up...Aron freaked out...and that "lobster" was airborne! After the nature hike was over and a quick lunch was eaten, it was time to ride the scooter (actually be "pushed" around the yard on the scooter)...he completely tuckered out Dan and Mema's legs aren't what they used to be...is this what "feeling your age" is all about..whew...I need to rest.
Sunday was extra special...my Dad, Dan and I, and Megan and Aron were able to attend worship together...my friend, Greg, who is recovering from a fatal car accident was able to attend that same Sunday...he is walking with braces on...we are so thankful he's walking and back at worship. Sunday evening was spent visiting and catching up with my wonderful friend, Sherrilline, and her family while Dan tried to recoup at the hotel...he'd been through a long couple of days...
Monday we had just enough time to visit my old workplace, CRMC and visit with a few of the best friends and workmates a girl could ever have...although I didn't get to visit with everyone...it was so wonderful being able to hug the ones I did see...

maybe the title to this post should have been Sweet Home Alabama. Glad you got to see family and friends.
I have meant to write about this... Terri, the non-hugger, with the overwhelming desire to hug her friend... I walked out on the CEO for Pete's sake!!!!
