Kindergarten...Here I Come!!

It's in the eyes...shining bright and saying "what next"...
In just a few days...this soon to be five year old will begin the path to his formal education...lets hope "they" are ready for him. Why would this loving grandma make such a statement...well, you see my sweet angelic grandson is definitely a live wire. His steady bursts of energy were to blame when he was "kicked out of daycare" at the age of three and put on a "3-day suspension" from pre-school at the age of four...let's hope this is not a pattern. Even so...this "Mema" loves her precious angel, no matter what.

Happy 24th Birthday!!!

I can't believe my little girl has grown up. She's a beautiful woman, a loving wife, a devoted mother and best of all she is a Christian.
Growing up, she was the sweetest child and early on I saw an independent spirit in her that continues to this day. The difficulties she has lived through, have only made her stronger. Her faith has given her the ability to dig in and weather the storms of life. She could, did and does state her opinion without reservation...you will always know where you stand with this one.
